Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to help heal injured tissues and relieve pain. It is a successful treatment used for conditions that involve ligaments and tendons. Such as tennis elbow, Achilles tendonopathy and plantar fasciitis and much more. Clients normally need 3-6 sessions of shockwave therapy.
I am able to refer clients for radiology imaging following assessment. This includes X-rays, diagnostic ultrasound and MRI. These tests will take place at Spire Murrayfield and have an independent charge to Spire healthcare. Once your tests have taken place we can discuss the results and you will be given a management plan personalised to your needs and concerns.
I can help you recover from surgery and hospital admisssions. Including mobility and tasks around the home. We can work on falls prevention and balance training. We can also work on long term issues such as osteoporosis or pain management. This can be in your own home or in clinic, the choice is yours.
